Phase I is City Approved, Garden Team members needed!

The first of several phases has been approved for the greening of the corridor of N. Polk St between Canty St and Kings Highway, or better known as the N. Polk St Beautification Project!

Gilbert Aguilar, Director of the Department of Street Services of the City of Dallas as granted our group, Turner Winston Block, the right to “adopt” the 620 Turner Ave public property.

Our next steps are to install a water meter, prepare the bedding for plantings, install irrigation, and then the plants.  If you missed last weeks public meeting about this project, go to the project page for more information!

Sign up to volunteer to be on Kings Highway’s Garden Team here!  We need a dedicated group of passionate individuals willing to be apart of a permanent Garden Team to help plant and maintain this project’s green spaces for years to come.  If you have a talent or are just interested in giving your time to help, please submit your information
